The personal space of Donatella Versace sparkles and shimmers even on a cloudy day. The apartment of the famous person is an example of elegance and gloss, it is distinguished by originality and extravagance. Furniture, walls and decoration - all interior details are selected with taste.

Chic and shine

Donatella's brother Giovanni Versace died in 1997. Experts predicted that without him, the fashion empire he built would not last long. But his younger sister proved that you should not judge a woman's intelligence by the color of her hair. Donatella was able to figure out all the subtleties and has successfully stood at the helm of the company for more than 20 years.

A huge collection of spirits of the main figure of the Versace fashion house can be seen on the French table of the Empire style. Also in the hallway there is a dark wardrobe with a large mirror.

The guest room is an exquisite place where designers managed to combine several different styles together. A luxurious and comfortable bed in a modern style blends perfectly with the Art Deco screen. Carpet and textiles from the hostess's collection complement the interior.

On the second level of the apartment is also a small living room. At its center is a marble cocktail table. Versace sofas look gorgeous. On the walls are the works of the contemporary artist M. Paladino. A 19th-century antique bronze chandelier adorns the ceiling of the living room.

The bathroom, which some compare to the football field, is decorated with chairs upholstered in black leather. A bronze statue of Buddha is located on the lacquered floor.

Other homes of the famous Italian designer

For well-known reasons, Donatella Versace has to travel a lot. And therefore, this is not the only housing of the mistress of the fashionable empire. She owns a large number of apartments scattered around the world, but does not stay in them for a long time. The only exceptions are apartments in Milan.

This apartment was bought back in 1986. Its design was entrusted to the then-famous decorator R. Monjardino. He completed the order so professionally that for 20 years, neither Donatella’s ex-husband nor she wanted to remake anything in the interior.

But the children grew up, so I had to think about expanding the living conditions. Then the woman bought another apartment, which is located a floor above, thus increasing the area of housing by half.

Second-level design Donatella again entrusted Renzo Monjardino. He and his team reproduced the same style as 2 decades ago. That is why housing looks like a whole. It is difficult to believe that once these were different, unconnected apartments.

There are still nuances and differences between the floors. The hostess’s bedroom is striking with a huge metal bed from J. Schnabel. Above it, decorating the wall, hangs a copy of the famous painting "The Great Metaphysician" by J. de Kirko.

The work of his brush also decorates the walls of the living room on the second level. It was decided to fill the remaining space of the apartment with furniture from Versace.

Donatella gave the first floor to children and their many guests, the second - she took it to herself. There she feels protected. When designing the personal space of a star, her motto is: “I want it so!”
