Taking measurements

After tightening, check the installation with a level.
5. The use of polyurethane foam. The perimeter of the window opening is filled with foam. It is not worth stinging the material, all excess can be easily removed after drying. It is difficult to wash it from the window, so you need to do the work carefully.
6. Window sill installation. After half an hour, a window sill is installed. It must be inserted to a depth of 2.5 cm under the window. If desired, you can make a slope of 3 degrees. Foam is blown out abundantly under it, there should be no voids.
7. Use of weighting agents. For uniform solidification of the windowsill, put something heavy on it, for example, 4 filled three-liter jars. They must be left for at least 3 days.But if the air temperature is above +25 degrees, only 40 hours is enough.

Slopes and ebbs

Mounting the tide is as easy as with the windowsill. The only caveat - you need to make the slope from the window more, otherwise the moisture will be retained, and not drain immediately after being hit. As fasteners use self-tapping screws or mounting foam. At the end of the installation of this part, silicone should fill the gap between the frame and the ebb.

Next comes the time of slopes. They should not only be beautiful, but also have a good ability to keep warm. Experts recommend using sandwich panels or drywall as a budget option.

Slope installation scheme:

1. The entire surface is poured with mounting foam or covered with adhesive tape panels that are attached to the wall.
2. The gap between the frame and the sandwich panel is treated with silicone or sealant. This will prevent heat loss and protect against moisture.
