To manufacture the device, you must prepare:
- Large plastic tank with a lid (bucket, food container, paint container, etc.).
- Cooler with power supply (medium size).
- Ultrasonic evaporator (can be found in hardware stores or purchased online).
- 24 V voltage reducer, electric wire with plug.
- Plastic cup.
- Styrofoam.
- A plastic tube 10-15 cm long with a small diameter (you can take a plumbing pipe).
Assembly order
At the first stage of assembly, three holes must be made in the lid from the tank according to the scheme: for a cooler, a tube through which humidified air will exit, and wires from the emitter. The size of the holes should be appropriate for the purpose.
An ultrasonic emitter is placed in a float from a plastic cup. To do this, holes must be made in the bottom of the latter. Through them, water will flow to the emitter.Using an elastic band, a gauze filter can be attached to the bottom of the glass. Then you should cut a hole in the foam and fix the resulting glass in it. An emitter must be installed inside the float.
The next step is the serial connection of the ultrasonic emitter to the voltage reducer and the wire with the plug. All compounds should be well insulated. The tank is filled with water. A float with a radiator is lowered into the water.
A fan is mounted in the tank lid so that air is directed into the device. There is also a tube for removing steam. The junction must be sealed. Before switching on, the cover must be tightly closed.
The ultrasonic humidifier is ready for use. To make the device work more efficiently, you can install two fans:
- for drawing dry air in;
- to remove humidified air out.
