Despite the prevalence of electronic reading, bookshelves on the wall have not lost their relevance. It is not recommended to install shelves with books in rooms with high humidity: basement, kitchen, dining room. The climate in the attic is also unfavorable due to a sharp change in temperature.

Materials for the manufacture of shelves and fasteners

Wooden racks are often made by home craftsmen on their own. You can build the original product from plastic, glass and metal, but special tools will be required here. Furniture stores offer a large selection of shelves from various materials:

1. Natural wood products are valued three times more expensive than MDF boards made on the basis of processing waste - wood chips and shavings. The presence of a pattern of cut wood or imitation will decorate any interior.
2. Metal racks support the weight of heavy books and household appliances. Chrome designs look good. As decoration use art forging.
